Can you believe summer is almost over?! Where did this summer even go???
I feel like I blinked and July disappeared. Am I the only one? This summer has been huge for me, with a lot of exciting changes and discoveries. Everything feels like it’s been speeding by and I’m just trying to keep up! I can’t wait to see what fall brings.
As a San Franciscan I don’t really get to start wearing warm weather appropriate clothes until September/October because of our Indian summers so my typical outfits from June to August are a mash up of layering and summery staples. This sleeveless trench is the perfect way to add a casual layer without over heating.
I threw on my very well loved paneled skinny jeans from Express (they’re currently having a killer sale on denim, go check it out!) because they are seriously my day off staple. I wear them several times a week because they’re so funky and casual.
I stole a satin cami from one of my sleep sets to add a little summer time glam to the look. I love satin and lace anything so these are on repeat as well. Plus this muted maroon/burnt rust color is everywhere (including my nails) and I am not mad at it.
For accessories I used my Uptown Mini Satchel from Henri Bendel, pink ombre sunnies from Nora NYC and these fun floral earrings I found in a thrift shop a few years ago.
Mules have got to be my favorite summer trend (check out my last post to hear me rave) and these brown heeled ones are the perfect day time addition if you’re looking to add some height to your look. Which I typically am considering I stand tall at 5’2.
