I’ve picked up a few goodies over the last few weeks and wanted to share my thoughts! Enjoy!

I can’t go a holiday or birthday without getting at least one Sephora gift card. Not that I’m complaining! Get a woman what she wants. This Christmas I decided to use mine to get the Trio Artist Palette and three artist shadows from Make Up For Ever. I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews about their shadows but the price left my hesitant. But once I saw that you could pick out any three that you wanted and get the trio palette to place them in, I was sold. They’re $21 each but you get the palette and three shadows all for $44. That’s insane. What a steal! And I have to say, they are worth every penny. I got the shades (from left to right) 648, 554, and 304. All are so pigmented and easy to blend. They’re so creamy that just by swatching them you can tell they’re going to glide over your eyelid effortlessly. I’m running back to Sephora ASAP to get more. My favorite of the three? The stunning emerald green. Get them here: http://www.sephora.com/artist-shadow-P387670?skuId=1623198

This was also a Christmas gift from another person who knows me well. This palette is so pretty and I love the wide range of fun colors. While some of the lighter shades, like Aquamarine and Amethyst are not as pigmented as the others, they are buildable. Other shades like Emerald (my favorite) and Topaz are very pigmented and give amazing color pay off. This definitely isn’t an everyday palette but the thing I love about it is that the hues that were chosen can totally be incorporated into an everyday look. I know I’ll be reaching for this all the time once Spring hits! LIMECRIME ZODIAC GLITTER IN “AQUARIUS”

I already am obsessed with their lipsticks (and packaging) so I had to try out their glitter. Sparkly eye looks are so fun but the mess they come with isn’t. Also, is there anything worse then chunky glitter getting all over your face? Not a good look. But I have to say, this glitter is pretty easy to work with. I applied mine with Fix+ by MAC and there was barely any fall out. Plus the glitter itself is so pretty and unique. Their entire line of glitter looks amazing and I really want to get my hands on Scorpio (and not just because that’s my sign). Get them here: http://limecrime.com/eyes/zodiac-glitter-90.html

REVLON COLORSTAY OVERTIME LIP COLOR IN “ENDLESS SPICE” and “ULTIMATE WINE” ($7)

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/fb8/38571579/files/2015/01/img_1334.jpg
When I saw these I thought they looked really cool. One side is the lip color and the other is a top coat to keep your lips moisturized and the color vibrant. The point is to reapply the top coat to refresh your lipstick. So I picked up a nice brown shade and a jewel toned red. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in this lip product. I wore both shades several times and each time the finish was just awful. You’re suppose to put the lip color on first and wait a few seconds for it to dry and then apply the top coat. The lip color however, does not apply an even layer of color and I ended up just having a ton of sticky, thick lipstick goo on my lips. Ew. The top coat made it a little bit better but it wasn’t that long lasting and I just couldn’t get over the feel of it. I would not recommend this to anyone but if you’re curious or just enjoy goopy lip products you can find them at any drug store.

LORAC THE ROYAL 3D LIQUID LUSTRE SET ($28)

LORAC is by far one of my favorite beauty brands so naturally I went crazy with their holiday collection. The packaging alone was enough to sell me. But I was really intrigued by the idea of “liquid lustre” so I ordered it. I’m so happy that I did because I have been using them almost every day since. You can use them on their own or over an eye shadow, but either way the effect is stunning. You just use a drop or two to add a subtle shine or build it up more for something more dramatic. I’ve been able to incorporate them all into essentially any eye look and they just add a little extra something. My favorite is definitely Amethyst. It’s been taking my favorite smokey eye look to the next level. If you can get your hands on these, you should! Unfortunately I can’t find them on Ulta or Amazon 🙁 but I will add a link if I find them anywhere!

What new producers have you tried this month? Tell me in the comments!

Xoxo,

Stilla palette is gorgeous. I’m looking for a palette with more brighter colours and as you said, this palette will be so useful for spring. 🙂
