My favorite part of my beauty routine is when I shape and fill in my brows. It’s a step that I can never skip. Not only does it frame my face but it takes every look I create to the next level. I have changed my brow routine a lot over the years and love trying new products. But nothing can beat Anastasia Beverly Hills. She truly is the Queen. I am endlessly impressed by all of her products and it’s clear that there is a lot of time and attention that goes into their formulations. For the last year I’ve been using her Dipbrow Pomeade in Blonde and I love it. It’s creamy and easy to use. It’s great for shaping and when applied in moderation can look really natural. But after a slight trimming fiasco, I messed up the arch of my right brow and needed a different, denser tool to fix it. So I decided to try the Perfect Brow Pencil in Medium Brown and I love it too! It shapes and defines my brows flawlessly and is dense enough to fill in my awkward arch! Here’s my step by step guide:

STEP ONE

I begin by plucking any stray hairs and then brushing my brows out with a spoolie. I usually do my eyebrows after I’ve applied my foundation and started my eye makeup, but before I apply a brow highlight or mascara.

STEP TWO

I use the point of the brow pencil to outline my brows and create the desired shape. I usually sharpen it before because if it’s too dull the line can get messy. I shape below and above my brow and carve out the arch.

I fill them in lightly with the pencil, with short upward strokes (sounds weird)

Then I take an angled brush and apply the Brow Duo Powder. The lighter shade (Blonde) is what I used to square off the inner part of my brows and then I use the darker shade (Medium Brown) for the tail and arch.

Finally I clean them up using my Loreal Crayon concealer in Light to maintain the shape. Sometimes the shape can get a little sloppy while I’m filling them in or I mess up while I’m outlining them. But I never worry because it’s so easy to clean up it up with concealer and an angled brush. I blend out the concealer with my pinky. I set them with her Clear Brow Gel and I’m done!

I’m going to film a tutorial for my channel soon, which will be even easier to follow! What are your favorite brow products? Tell me in the comments!

Xoxo,
